Wings on the Way Down: A Hidden Flight of Grace

The muse doesn’t wait for you to be ready. She tiptoes in through the side door, just as you're sipping tea or gazing at the moon.

This first musing is about what happens when we open the door — when we choose to nourish our inner world and trust the subtle nudge. It starts, as all good stories do, with wonder… and a little help from Ray Bradbury.

“We must continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.”
Ray Bradbury, Zen in the Art of Writing

This quote has followed me for years. It’s both a dare and a devotion — the invitation to trust the invisible, to leap without guarantees… to believe in the Muse.

How enchanting to allow myself to be guided by these unseen forces and spirits… I feel so alive when I live my life from this place of constantly being on the lookout for magical moments and treasures that may otherwise be hidden.

Do you believe?
Isn’t that what Peter Pan was asking of us — to save Tinkerbell?

I believe there are treasures waiting behind every leaf, in every whisper, in the pause between breaths. This musing is a tribute to those moments. Welcome to the Tree of Serendipity — may you discover your wings here.
