Stop Resisting: Miracle of Love
Welcome Beloveds! This morning - a truly delightful morning with a colorful sunrise, birds chirping and a very special book that I feel so blessed to have received - it really seemed to choose me.
Miracle of Love: stories about Neem Karoli Baba… Maharaj-ji…
And as I opened it, I felt something deeper than words—a quiet field of remembrance.
Maharaj-ji’s teachings are often distilled into three simple invitations:
Love everyone. Serve everyone. Remember God.
So simple… and yet, everything.
Again and again, he pointed to one name:
Ram… Ram… Ram…
Not as a doctrine. Not as something to believe. But as a rhythm—a returning.
Ram is traditionally known as a divine incarnation, a symbol of truth, righteousness, and harmony.
But beyond story or form, the name Ram points to something intimate and immediate:
the presence of the Divine within the heart
the quiet light of awareness
the natural state of love
Many have said that the name and the Divine are not separate.
So when we repeat the name… we are not calling something in… we are remembering what has always been here.
Maharaj-ji did not encourage analysis.
He offered something far more direct:
Remember.
And perhaps this is where the teaching becomes very alive for us today.
What if love is not something we give?
What if love is what naturally flows… when we stop resisting?
In our daily lives, we move through so much.
We work. We navigate relationships. We feel joy… and also contraction.
We get triggered. We close. We protect.
This is human.
There is no shame here.
Only awareness.
This is not a command.
It is an invitation.
To notice:
Where am I holding tension? Where am I bracing? Where am I trying to control, fix, or defend?
And what happens…
if, just for a moment…
I soften?
Love is not something we manufacture.
It is not something we force.
It is something that moves through us… to the degree that we allow it.
And perhaps the great shift is this:
Not trying to love more…
But resisting less.
Take a breath.
Softly… inwardly…
Ram…
Let the sound land in the heart.
No effort.No striving.
Just a gentle remembering.
Maharaj-ji reminded us not to become attached to the form.
The body comes and goes. The personality appears and dissolves.
But what flows through…
that love…
is eternal.
Today, you don’t have to become anything.
You don’t have to earn love.
You don’t have to prove anything.
You might simply begin here:
Stop resisting…
And notice…
Love is already all around you.
